Apprenticeship as digitalization management assistant (m/f/d) - 2025

Would you like to lay the foundations for your career? Then you've come to the right place! Join a young and motivated company where you will be welcomed as a mentee in a personal working atmosphere. During your three-year apprenticeship, you will learn all the business aspects of ERP systems. In terms of content, you will support our support team and accompany our solutions from the initial idea through to system maintenance.

Some questions you may be asking yourself...

How does the dual training program at PROTAKT work?

PROTAKT offers apprenticeships for IT specialists with various specializations and other apprenticeships in the IT sector. This is a dual vocational training program that takes place both at our company and at a vocational school. Training at PROTAKT usually lasts three years, although you can shorten the duration by arrangement with us if you perform well and under certain conditions. You will start after the Hessian summer vacation. You will receive a monthly salary during the entire training period.

What does our time model look like?

You will work 3½ days a week at our company in Bad Nauheim. Here you will learn the technical know-how and how to apply and expand your knowledge in practice. One morning and another day during the week you will attend the Johann-Philipp-Reis-Schule in Friedberg and the Berufliche Schulen am Gradierwerk in Bad Nauheim. The vocational school days change every year. We are usually informed of the school days by the vocational schools shortly before the start of training. There is no vocational school during the Hessian school vacations and you will work in our company. This results in a weekly working time of 27 hours during school time and 40 hours during the vacations.

Why do I need German, English or math?

When communicating with our customers - be it directly in conversation or by e-mail - but also in the written creation of software documentation or customer concepts, a good knowledge of German is very helpful in order to be able to express yourself well. As technical literature is often only available in English, you should have a good understanding of the English language. In programming, math is a bit like a toolbox that you can use to solve problems. A solid basic understanding of math is therefore helpful. You also need a good overview in order to formulate problems mathematically. You should therefore be able to think logically and enjoy analyzing things.

What is the remuneration during the apprenticeship?

During your apprenticeship, you will receive an attractive monthly salary from PROTAKT. All our trainees receive:

in the first year of training = EUR 1,000.00
in the second year of training = EUR 1,100.00
in the third year of training = EUR 1,300.00

During your training, you will very quickly be practically involved in our project work and will therefore be able to work independently after a relatively short time. We want to reward this and therefore pay you significantly more than the salary recommended by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce from the 2nd year of training.

How much vacation do I have?

At PROTAKT, all team members receive 30 vacation days per calendar year.

Can I shorten the duration of my training?

The apprenticeships we offer are demanding in terms of content and cover a really broad technical spectrum. For this reason, training at PROTAKT is designed to last 3 years. However, the training period can also be shortened by arrangement if you perform well and under certain conditions.

Will I be taken on by PROTAKT after successfully completing my training?

PROTAKT decided years ago to counteract the increasing shortage of skilled workers in the IT sector by training young people ourselves. Primarily and preferably for our company. We are therefore naturally very interested in taking you on after you have successfully completed your training.
